A HD home theater or home cinema is a collection of speakers and audio-video components designed to reproduce the movie-theater experience in the comfort of your own home.

Almost any TV will work with a HD entertainment system, but for optimal movie viewing, you'll need a "wide-screen" set with a 16:9 aspect ratio. These most closely duplicate cinema screens, so you'll see the movie as the filmmakers intended. HDTV and most DVDs play in the wide-screen format.
If you're thinking about the significant investment of a big screen tv for your home theater, be sure the set is at least digital ready, which means equipped with a built-in HDTV tuner, or capable of reproducing HDTV signals from an externally connected set-top box. US broadcasters are rapidly moving toward the high definition transmission and you'll want a TV that won't soon become obsolete. It’s also wise to ask for next-generation connections (HDMI and Firewire®) that will allow you to connect new copy-protected sources to your HDTV for high-resolution HDTV playback.
In simple terms, HD Entartainment adding a separate sound system to an existing television to create a more involving atmosphere.
Depending on your budget and the amount of space you have, there are many ways that a system can be constructed to suit your needs. Every room presents a challenge when it comes to home cinema. Some challenges are less demanding than others. But regardless of these factors, the basic components of a home cinema system remain essentially the same; the only differences being the quality of each component and the features that are included.
The Home Theater kit includes:

Sound
Although the size and the quality of the video screen or monitor are very important, a high-quality, properly set up multichannel surround-sound speaker system is what really brings a home theater to life!Multichannel sound adds dimension, spaciousness and a heightened sense of realism to the music-listening experience.
The speakers are positioned around the room. Each speaker diffuses sound in directional manner. Listening area can be defined as the optimum position to enjoy all the special effects. The subwoofer is not a directional speaker and it can be placed anywhere in the room.
SUBWOOFER POSITIONING
Put your subwoofer next to where you normally sit. Then disconnect your speakers but leave the sub connected to the amp and plugged in to the mains. Play something loud, with a consistent bass beat, then walk round the room, listening to it. You´ll find the bass sounds louder in two or three places (often in corners). Put the subwoofer in one of these positions, which are referred to as “nodes”. If there´s too much boom, simply move the sub further into the room.

I don't like using 100% on a table cell when I have a pixel width defined in the other cell so rather than defining the 100% I just hide a large div at the bottom to push out the edge.
